Do you support Same-Sex Marriage, or do you oppose?

Lol. I'm mad I was thinking this was going to be a topic that actually required thought.
Welp...
Personally, I do not support any type of marriages b/c I believe they're a waste of everyone's time and money. People should be able to seriously commit themselves to one another without having to vow to spend every waking second with their partner til parting in death. Like, c'mon -- that's totally f*cking ridiculous. Lol.
Secondly, I am not religious (as we all very well know), and I believe marriage was established under religious bases (and biases). Religion was created to divide and conquer, apparently, and that's exactly what is has been succeeding in doing for the past millennium (or so).
Lastly, for my final answer, I am going to have to say I am a supporter of happiness. If the couple is willing to get married (like, it's something that they actually WANT to do), then they should be able to without there being any laws forbidding it. However, I strongly advise AGAINST hetero/homo marriage as it seems to ultimately result in divorce and sometimes debt. You should be able to be with and without whomever you so choose without having to pay for separation (TF!?). Like, gosh, America... tf were we thinking introducing such a primitive tradition into our society?

-nods at what redd said. True ive actually had this discussion with a homosexual, he stated that he does not even want to get married because its only ceremonial, just like about everything else in the world. America is full of social and media bull to feed into is taking the bait and feeding the beast capitalism, hierarchy, discrimination, etc etc n fuhing etc. Do what makes you happy PERIOD, long as your not physically harming anyone, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, we have those rights, use them!

i thought we were debating homosexual marriage , not marriage all together .
but any who ,
I am a strong believer in marriage , and homosexual marriage . I dont believe that you shouldn't get married , just because of the negative impacts you will have to face when you get divorced . I believe that anyone should be able to get married , no matter what their sexual orientation is . As far as marriage just being "ceremonial" thats like saying having a learners permit , is the same thing as having a drivers license . its totally different , being married is legit , the real deal , its on papers , in the eyes of the law , you are one person , i.e , would be the drivers licence ... the learners permit = you just in a relationship , thats it , you like each other , might love each other , but your not legal , and , you cant drive after 12 am ,

from a religious stand point i can see why people would oppose homosexual marriages, but who are we as people to oppose who one should marry, you cannot help who you fall in love with i'm all for homosexual marriages, letting people live their lives and marry who the hell they want to marry

Jane you just further proved my point ty. All that is social construct, we are all a part of the scheme a pon in the bigger picture, so as i said it means nothin really, after death, what does a learner permitt or drive license mean to me? nothin at all, for inhumanly standards those documents are important to play a role in society they are important i agree, but thats also bein a part of societal order, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, just how we survive and have order in the world. But my point is ceremonial aspects of life are not important in my eyes only to the scheme of social hierarchy. Prime example is school and degrees or certificates, we live our whole lives tryna get the highest degrees the best education the best house the best cars, for what? who are we or what are we really living for? Its just a matter of values, but at the end of the day that degree doesnt mean much especially in the world we live intotoday i.e. DISCRIMINATION.
